Suzanne Steinbaum is a cardiologist and director of Women's Heart Health at the Heart and Vascular Institute, Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City and author of ''Dr.Suzanne Steinbaum’s Heart Book: Every Woman’s Guide to a Heart Healthy Life''. She has written on topics of cardiac prevention and nutrition and is used as an expert source by news and media outlets. ==Early life and education== Steinbaum was born in Cherry Hill, New Jersey to Eleanor and Frederick Steinbaum. Her nephews include Noah and Matthew Steinbaum. Prior to her 10th birthday, the family moved to Livingston, New Jersey. She attended Mt. After receiving her D.O. degree, she trained at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, in both Internal medicine and Cardiology.
